 | Last night we went to get sushi. We went to a place we had never tried. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll, an eel roll, and a crab roll. The shrimp tempura roll and eel roll was awesome, but the crab roll was eh. After we finished we ordered a california roll (we were starving). When the order came, it looked JUST LIKE the crab roll. We verified with the server that this was indeed california roll and she assured us it was. She also went on to say that it's just like the crab roll except the california roll is made with a mixture as opposed to the whole crab meat, but they ran out of the mixture and had to use the whole crab meat instead. Basically contradicting herself and saying that we had another crab roll on our hands. Trusting her and against our better judgement we ate it. Now don't get me wrong ... it wasn't gross or anything, just not what we wanted. Long story short - we got screwed because the crab roll was near $7 and the california roll was $4. THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME DAMN THING! 7:34 AM  |
