I was taken aback yesterday when while brushing my teeth I watched my 2 1/2 year old daughter take tissue and shove it in her shirt as if stuffing a bra. Stopped in my tracks I asked her what she was doing. I have never stuffed my bra, in front of her or in hiding. Where could she have gotten the idea to do such a thing? When I asked her she just laughed and held her shirt down to show the bulge of tissue where it should have been if indeed she was trying to stuff a bra. I asked her again, "Gwynnie, why are you doing that?" I kind of expected her to say "boobies", but all she said was "shirt" and laughed. I made sure I didn't say the word "boobies" to not plant anything in her head. She then took the tissue out, opened it up, put in on her head and said "hat."
Phew, she's still innocent.
