Hello adulthood, nice to meet you. There are milestones in life that get you into adulthood. Such as: Graduating from high school. Going to college. Graduating from college. Getting that first career type job. Getting married. Buying your first house. Having kids. I went through all of that. Yes, after each one I did feel a little more "grown", but not until this past week did I feel as though I received my formal invitaion into adulthood. Matt and I are invited to an actual grown up cocktail party!! It's actually his office Christmas party. It is going to be at the owner's home which is worth millions. I am so excited to find that perfect cocktail dress and to have Matt in a suit. Fancy Schmancy!! I've been to parties in the past, but I have a feeling that this is going to be a tad more formal.
