Oh. My. Gawd. A category 5 hurricane is coming straight for us and here we are staying at home, preparing to hunker down and bear the brunt of that bitch Katrina. What the hell is wrong with us? It sucks that we are in the "right front quadrant", which is where the most severe damage occurs. Eeek! Right now the sustained winds are at 165 mph .. it was up to 175 mph and they're saying it could very easily increase back up since it still has over 12 hours before it hits land. It's going to be a long, long, windy night. Wish us luck and hopefully we'll have little to no damage. Gwynnie and I may end up crouched in one bathtub and my husband and dog in the other as our roof is getting torn off. Oh geez. I feel ill.
